Terms of Use

Last updated: May 2026

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using SMILE Postnatal Care, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

2. Authorised use

The Application is intended for authorised healthcare staff at participating facilities. You may only use it for legitimate postnatal care documentation, in line with your role (administrator, nurse, or doctor) and local professional standards.

3. Clinical data

Records entered in the Application support care delivery but do not replace clinical judgement, paper protocols where required, or statutory reporting obligations. You are responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of data you submit.

4. Confidentiality and security

We expect users to treat all patient and system data as confidential. Reasonable safeguards are applied to protect stored information; however, no system is infallible.

5. Disclaimer of liability

The Application is provided "as is." developers, and related parties disclaim all liability for direct or indirect damages resulting from use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to data misuse, accidental disclosure, data loss, system downtime, breach of confidentiality, or reliance on exported reports. Facilities and users remain responsible for backup, governance, and compliance with applicable law.

6. Account suspension

Administrators may deactivate accounts that violate these terms or pose a security risk.

7. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
