1. Introduction
SMILE Postnatal Care ("the Application") is operated by Nuru Yetu and partners. This policy describes how clinical and personal data entered into the system is handled.
2. Data we collect
The Application stores information entered by authorised staff, including patient demographics, delivery details, clinical assessments, follow-up visit records, and user account details. Access is restricted to authenticated users with assigned roles.
3. How we protect your data
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data held in the Application, including access controls, encrypted connections where configured, and role-based permissions. Only personnel who need the information for postnatal care should use the system.
4. Limitation of liability
While we strive to keep data secure and confidential, we do not guarantee absolute security. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nuru Yetu, its operators, developers, and affiliates bear no responsibility for any misuse of data, unauthorised access, loss of data, corruption, disclosure, or breach of confidentiality arising from user error, third-party actions, infrastructure failure, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
5. Your responsibilities
Users must keep login credentials confidential, log out on shared devices, and enter only accurate information required for care. Report suspected security issues to your facility administrator promptly.
